(03) / The story

Marlowe Bikes

The brief

Marlowe builds electric bikes by hand in a converted tram depot. Their old site was a template with stock photos of bikes they did not make. They wanted a shop that showed the real thing.

What we did

We photographed the workshop over two days, drew a simple wordmark from the frame’s tube profile and built a shop with a bike configurator: pick a frame size, colour and battery and see the price change.

How it went

The site launched in nine weeks. The team now edits every product page themselves, and the workshop photos are the most shared thing on their social channels.

What changed

Online orders rose by more than half in the first quarter, and the number of test-ride bookings doubled.
