(03) / The story
Kestrel Ferries
The brief
Kestrel runs eleven island routes and most of its customers check the timetable on their phone while standing at the pier. The old site needed six taps to answer one question.
What we did
We rebuilt the timetable as a single screen: pick a route, see the next three sailings, and get a clear yes or no if the weather has changed things. The whole site works offline once it has loaded.
How it went
Rafi’s team tested it on ferry wifi, a slow phone and a pier with one bar of signal. The timetable is now the first thing on the homepage.
What changed
Support calls dropped by more than a third in the first month, and the operations team can post a delay in under a minute.
